Katie Price plans music comeback as she duets with X Factor winner Sam Bailey
KATIE Price has joined forces with X Factor winner Sam Bailey to try and help her kickstart her music career once again after multiple failures.
It comes after the former glamour model, 42, returned to the studio yesterday to record her new album Put Me Back Together.
And now her producer Rick Live has revealed to The Sun Online that Katie has roped in famous friend Sam Bailey to help her out.
He told us: "Sam and Katie have recorded two covers for the album - one is Don't Walk Away and it's sounding great."
American R&B group Jade released Don't Walk Away in 1992 as a single from their album, 'Jade to the Max', which became one of the biggest dance songs of that year.
The second song they have covered together is 1, 2, 3 by Gloria Estefan - which peaked at number three on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in July 1988.
The Sun Online have contacted Sam Bailey's rep for comment.
This is definitely not the first time the pair have been in the studio together after they were seen recording each other this time last year.
"Sam's so nice. We filmed episodes of 'Family Fortunes' and were in the green room with our babies.
"She's normal, down to earth and grounded. I was talking to her about her job as a prison guard."
The ex glamour model's first attempt at pop stardom was when she tried to represent the UK in Eurovision back in 2005.
She entered Making Your Mind Up, the contest that chose which song we sent to the competition, with the track I'm Not Just Anybody.
Since her stint on Eurovision, Katie has given her music career a right go, releasing numerous albums and singles for everyone to enjoy.
In 2006 the model teamed up with then-husband Peter Andre to release an album called A Whole New World, which failed to impress and placed at number 20.
In 2010 she decided to give it another go and released yet another single -Free To Love Again - which entered the UK charts at number 60.
Then after a seven year break, Kate teamed up with X Factor reject Craig Colton for her song I Got U, which was pushed out of the charts entirely after just three days.
Meanwhile, it's easy to say that Sam Bailey's singing career has been slightly more successful.
