FLOODY NIGHTMARE

Peter Crouch’s £3million mansion hit with £80k worth of damage after flood

I CAN imagine a lot of things at home are more pricey for 6ft 7in tall Peter Crouch – like the extra-long bed and specially made clothes.

Things have got even more expensive for the ex- England player after his £3million Surrey mansion was flooded during lockdown.

And it was so bad that builders are still repairing around £80,000 worth of damage to one of his four children’s bedrooms.

Crouchy told the Lockdown Parenting Hell podcast: “We had a flood during lockdown and it took out one of the bedrooms. It’s an official flood. We had the flood and one of the bedrooms is out of action. We had to sort of jiggle things around so hopefully when the bedroom is back in action we’ll get the boys back in there together.”

The former Spurs forward isn’t having the best time at the moment as he got a telling off from wife Abbey Clancy for losing their 14-month-old son in a flock of sheep. He said Jack caused “panic” when he escaped from the play area of a farm.

Peter told how he hadn’t realised Jack was missing, until Abbey asked where he was. He added: “I don’t think Ab would trust me on my own with all four.”

Having two myself, I can sympathise.

Iggy’s rear end of an era

IGGY Azalea looks just peachy as she poses in this skin-tight pink bodysuit.

The Aussie rapper shared the photo on Instagram after a long weekend spent in the recording studio.

She has been working on her third album, End Of An Era – and gave her fans and followers a taste of one of the songs, which could be heard in the background in a video shared on social media.

On the track, which she did not reveal the title for, she raps: “Don’t need no Superman I’m rich, bitch, I know it.”

She then added: “I do what I want because I’m bad, bitch, you know it.”

I doubt she will be using those lines as a lullaby for her five-month-old son Onyx.

Come back in anger

IT’S 25 years since Oasis released their landmark (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? album – and rightly the now-estranged band are marking the occasion.

Tomorrow the Manc rockers will unveil a new special edition of the record, alongside some new videos on their YouTube channel – accompanying the album’s biggest crowd-pleasers including Don’t Look Back In Anger, Champagne Supernova and Wonderwall.

Estranged Oasis brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher will unveil a special edition of (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? album

In a trip down memory lane, guitarist Noel Gallagher takes a camera crew back to Rockfield Studios in Wales, where they made the masterpiece that has gone on to become the fifth best-selling album in British chart history. As he reminisces, Noel says: “Liam’s voice is f***ing unreal on that album, nobody at the time realised that that was our moment.”

And listening back to the album it’s clear the moment for more is now upon us.

The band split in 2009 and years of in-fighting since then have put the brakes on fans’ hopes of a reunion. But after months of social restrictions, Britain needs a flagbearer for us coming together again.

Perhaps Noel’s thinking the same. When signing off on the visit, he tells studio chiefs: “I loved the Nineties. Why did we have to get f***ing old?”

And in a cheeky aside he adds: “Maybe we’ll be back one day.”

Here’s hoping.

Cara’s wild at heart

AS far as cowgirls go, Cara Delevingne is the wildest in the west.

The model and actress dressed up in a denim outfit – revealing her bra – and wore an oversized sombrero.

I told earlier this month how she has hooked up with US pop star Halsey, three months after their exes got together.

In April, Cara split up with actress Ashley Benson, who shortly after got together with Halsey’s ex, rapper G-Eazy.

This Instagram snap was captioned “Yeehaw”.

It certainly doesn’t look as if Cara is reining it in.

It’s London for Kylie

THERE’s no chance of Kylie Minogue quitting London for her native Australia after almost 30 years in the UK.

On her and boyfriend Paul Solomons, she said: “He’s a Welshman. But he’s been in London for almost 20 years. There’s just not going to be an Australian home.

The Magic singer, inset, has also said she took up gardening in lockdown, but doesn’t have much to show for it.

Speaking on Jessie Ware’s Table Manners podcast, she added: “I got some tomatoes which of course is like, I don’t think you can fail on that front.

“There were courgettes, runner beans – it was just the little things. I got quite into it and then I think a squirrel attacked everything and that was that.”
