Love Island’s Demi Jones is called out for ‘photoshop fail’ in unrecognisable Instagram selfie
LOVE Island star Demi Jones look unrecognisable in a new selfie where she rocks a high ponytail.
Fans of the 22-year-old were shocked at the photo she posted to Instagram saying "this literally don’t look like you at all".
In the cute selfie, a beaming Demi is looking down at the camera while rocking a 60s style navy crop with silver zip.
Demi opted for contoured face makeup with a sunkissed eye and pink lipgloss.
She has styled her hair in a half-up, high ponytail using Beauty Works extensions.
The post is an ad for the product which she also added to her Instagram stories.
Demi captioned the post: "Created this cute half up half down look using the brand new @beauty_worksonline 18” Ponytail in shade ‘Caramel’ 💫 Head to my stories for a tutorial 👆"
Despite the stunning pic, many of her 1.1million followers were distracted by how different the reality star looked from normal.
One Instagram users wrote: "Doesn't look like you??"
Another added: "This literally don’t look like you at all. Mad."
But some accused her of using photoshop or face apps to change how she looked.
One fan said: "You look stunning but that face tune us sooo obvious girl
A second agreed: "Who’s that? This is definitely not you😂 chill out on the face editing apps."
Some fans rushed to her defence and suggested her different appearance had more to do with the angle of the camera.
"Totally thought it was a lookalike or something! Maybe it’s the way she’s angling her face?!" one of her followers commented.
Celebs on Instagram are regularly called out for allegedly using photoshop to make themselves look better from Khloe Kardashian to Chloe Ferry.
But celebs have argued that rather than using photoshop they just know how to pose and get the right lighting for their shots.
Another Love Island alum, Molly-Mae Hague hit back at trolls who called her "lardy" recently.
The 21-year-old reality star was left angry and upset after mean keyboard warriors criticised her bikini pictures while she was on holiday.
But she again defended herself and took to her Instagram stories to say she looked bigger in the paparazzi shots for a reason.
The Love Island star wrote: "I just had to say this. One last thing.
"For people saying I 'over-edit' my pictures here's the live version.
