JAMES Corden found himself stripping off with the members of Red Hot Chilli Peppers in his latest Carpool Karaoke video.
The British funnyman was joined by Anthony Kiedis, Flea, Chad Smith and Josh Klinghoffer for a head-banging flesh-flashing car journey with the iconic rock band.
The Late Late Show host and the band members started the journey fully dressed before taking off their shirts halfway through the ride to sing The Zephyr Song.
James admitted: “I feel great. If I was on my won in the car with my top off, it would feel weird. But the fact that there are three of us in the car with our tops off, it doesn’t feel weird.”
But it wasn’t all rock and roll as Flea led James into a rousing rendition of Food Glorious Food from the popular musical, Oliver.
The band even sang a hilarious song that they wrote aged 15, after smoking “large quantities of marijuana” during a camping trip.
Things started to take a bizarre turn when they stopped off outside a stranger’s house so that James and Anthony Kiedis could have a quick wrestling match in their front garden.
James, 37, was graceful in defeat as he said: ‘It’s difficult to wrestle when you’re laughing that much. I didn’t realise I was coming up against such skill.’
And Kiedis spoke about having Cher as a baby sitter when he was aged 12, admitting that he once watched her get ready in the bathroom back when she was his baby sitter.
James recently admitted to The Sun that he is ‘more shocked than anyone’ that he has become a success in the US.
The small screen star of Gavin And Stacey mused: “What are the chances of a chubby boy, and I’m being generous, going to America to do a top job like this every night and being anything other than a complete disaster?
“I’m scared I’ll be the boy from High Wycombe who just couldn’t hack it and had to go back home with his tail between his legs.”
He then recalled a recent moment that left him starstruck as he told Dan Wooton: “I lost my s*** recently when I was at a party and someone tapped me on the shoulder and we had a big hug — and it was Oprah!
“I don’t ever want to get to a place where I’m at all blasé about how great things are.”
