Holly Willoughby gets the giggles as she trims her bush live on This Morning
Viewers can't get enough of innuendo dropping guest
IT was innuendo bingo gold on This Morning when Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were let loose with chainsaws as part of a bush trimming challenge.
The prone to laughing fits duo had well and truly met their match when they welcomed master pruner Charlie onto the daytime ITV show.
They struggled to keep a straight face as she dealt out her double entendre-laden advice on keeping your bush tidy.
She explained: “If you’ve got great big balls or a really fuzzy bush, you can get in there and give it a really good trim.”
Stifling a laugh, Phillip replied: “Yeah? You’re good, you can come back!”
Setting Phillip and Holly the task of shaping their bushes into hearts, they enthusiastically set to work.
However when Phillip broke the golden rule and chopped into his wood, Holly was ultimate named the winner.
He bemoaned: "I went mad on my unruly bush."
Even still, viewers loved it.
Taking to Twitter, one user said: “This bush trimming segment on This Morning is full with innuendo and it's hysterical.”
Agreeing, another added: “If you need a laugh this morning Phil is trying to keep a straight face while talking about bush trimming on This Morning," said one viewer on Twitter.”
One however cried foul play: "Unfair contest as Holly obviously has more experience in bush trimming. # BritainsBestBush # ThisMorning".
Just last week saw what Phillip went on to describe as his and Holly’s ‘worst’ fit of giggles on-air to-date.
They were unable to control themselves during a segment about people sending texts to the wrong people.
Phil was asking people to email or text in their embarrassing stories about texting, when he just burst out laughing, with Holly quickly following suit.
She couldn’t compose herself and had to sit down, which she sensationally revealed was because she thought she was going to wet herself.
Speaking on Facebook Live this morning, Holly revealed lots of her Twitter followers knew why she had to rush to sit down.
She said: “I never had to sit down because I thought I was going to wet myself on the telly so that was a TV first for me.
“It was funny because there were so many people of twitter afterwards saying: ‘You’re just like me, you have to sit down in case you wet yourself’ so it’s perfectly obvious."
This Morning airs weekdays on ITV at 10:30am.
