Pregnant Stephanie Davis tweets her excitement as she goes baby clothes shopping with best friend
The 23-year-old's pals have been rallying around her during tough time
STEPHANIE Davis put the latest drama surrounding her pregnancy behind her to stock up on baby clothes.
The 23-year-old tweeted about how excited she was to pick out baby clothes in a series of messages with her best mate and former Hollyoaks actress Kelly Marie Stewart.
The former actress’s pals have been by her side supporting her following a very difficult start to her pregnancy – which most recently saw her targeted by cruel trolls who accused her of faking her pregnancy.
Ignoring the negativity the brunette beauty, who is currently embroiled in a paternity debate with her ex Jeremy McConnell , tweeted instead about her day out.
She wrote: “Too excited now kell! Can't waittttt! Shall we go shopping tomorrow before tea ? hehe #babystuff xx”
Kelly, best known for playing Hayley Ramsey on the soap, replied: "Yes sounds like a plan Hun can't wait .... Exciting times I know a few good baby shops #girlyday."
She then added: "Looking forward to helping my lovely friend @Stephdavis77 baby shop today #exciting times a much needed girly day #love."
However despite the positive messages, she was forced to defend Steph after a cruel Twitter user mocked her for shopping for baby clothes already.

It comes after a particularly difficult start to the week, which saw her being trolled over whether she was really pregnant or not.

He told the online: "Steph, she claimed she turned me down, but that is me and Zayn Malik now.
"I hate to call the girl a liar but, come on, you are a bit far-fetched. Next, she will be saying Beckham tried it on with her and the list will continue.”
