Who is Bake Off 2020's Linda?

Linda hails from East Sussex.

The Retirement Living Team Leader first discovered her passion for baking during her childhood visits to her aunt’s dairy farm.

She used to help to milk the cows, then carry a bucket of milk into the kitchen, where her aunt taught her to bake cakes.

Her strengths are in the classics and in home-comfort cooking, like her signature sausage rolls.

In week four, Linda revealed her daughter Melissa had died when she was just 18.

As she made a white chocolate cake in a tribute to her daughter she said: "This really means a lot to me, this cake. It's a tribute to my daughter, actually.

"Melissa had special needs. She's no longer with us, she passed away when she was 18.

"But this is just a celebration of her life really and she was just a sweet little English rose."
