Taylor Swift hits back at Kim Kardashian amid claims she lied over Kanye West feud
Reality star claims that the singer approved being called a 'bitch' in Kanye hit
TAYLOR Swift has told Kanye West and Kim Kardashian to “leave her alone” after the power couple accused the star of lying.
The Bad Blood singer, 26, refuted Kim’s claims in a new magazine chat that she approved to being called a “bitch” in Kanye’s Life of Pablo song Famous.
A rep for the star, who The Sun yesterday exposed was secretly romancing future James Bond Tom Hiddleston, went onto to describe how the US rapper personally “humiliated” her.
A spokeswoman for Taylor blasted: “Kanye West never told Taylor he was going to use the term ‘that bitch’ in referencing her.
“A song cannot be approved if it was never heard. Kanye West never played the song for Taylor Swift.
“Taylor heard it for the first time when everyone else did and was humiliated.
“Kim Kardashian’s claim that Taylor and her team were aware of being recorded is not true, and Taylor cannot understand why Kanye West, and now Kim Kardashian, will not just leave her alone.”
Taylor’s rebuttal follows Kim’s claims in GQ that the Shake It Off singer approved of the line in which Kanye raps, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/ Why? Because I made that bitch famous.”
“She totally approved that,” Kim, 35, slammed.
“She totally knew that that was coming out. She wanted to all of a sudden act like she didn’t.
“I swear, my husband gets so much sh*t for things (when) he was really doing proper protocol and even called to get it approved.”
The mother-of-two also questioned: “What rapper would call a girl that he was rapping a line about to get approval?”
Despite this, Taylor has argued that she never had a conversation with Kanye to approve the line – instead admitting that they only spoke on the phone while she was on holiday at the beginning of this year.
The pop star also revealed that she has cut contact with Kanye and hasn’t spoken to the Gold Digger hitmaker since.
Taylor’s spokeswoman added: “Taylor does not hold anything against Kim Kardashian as she recognizes the pressure Kim must be under and that she is only repeating what she has been told by Kanye West.
“However, that does not change the fact that much of what Kim is saying is incorrect.
“Kanye West and Taylor only spoke once on the phone while she was on vacation with her family in January of 2016 and they have never spoken since.
“Taylor has never denied that conversation took place. It was on that phone call that Kanye West also asked her to release the song on her Twitter account, which she declined to do.”
When Taylor won Album of the Year at the Grammys, she used her acceptance speech to call out people who “try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame”, which many took to be a dig at Kanye.
Kim argued: “It was funny because [on the call with Kanye, Taylor] said, ‘When I get on the Grammy red carpet, all the media is going to think that I’m so against this, and I’ll just laugh and say, ‘The
joke’s on you, guys. I was in on it the whole time.’”
She added: “And I’m like, wait, but [in] your Grammy speech, you completely dissed my husband just to play the victim again.”
