ADELE looks slimmer than ever before as she showed off her American accent to promote her upcoming hosting appearance on Saturday Night Live.
In a new , the 32-year-old singer teased that she will "maybe" be the musical guest, and The Sun can reveal she is expected to perform.
And a source told us: "This is the show which really catapulted Adele to stardom in the US so it’s a huge deal for her to be back on.
“There are big plans coming and this is the launch of her return to the spotlight. Absolutely everyone will be talking about it afterwards.”
The video clip opened with introducing herself and sharing that she is going to host the this weekend.
She was joined by cast member Kate McKinnon, 36, and musical guest H.E.R., 23, on stage.
All three women in the video donned face masks, while the rocked a curve hugging velvet dress.
After sharing that H.E.R. is the musical guest, Kate got confused and asked which of the singers would put on musical performances during the episode.
Kate added: "Yes, me. It is I who will be the musical guest this week."
Adele then said: "Or maybe me."
The clip continued with Adele, Kate and H.E.R. doing their best attempts at speaking with accents that are unlike their own.
Attempting a cockney accent like Adele's, Kate said: "So tune in, it's fit to be wicked. I'm sorry bad idea, bad idea. Fail."
Showing off her American twang, Adele replied: "Oh my god no worries, girlfriend."
Kate laughed: "Now that is good."
While Saturday's appearance will be her first time hosting SNL, Adele made her debut on the NBC show as a musical guest in October 2008.
The Grammy winner's appearance on SNL comes as she continues to flaunt her impressive weight loss.
Many fans were hopeful that her hosting role on the show meant that she has , though that doesn't appear to be the case.
Her manager previously confirmed her fourth studio album is in the works, but had been delayed.
Meanwhile, Adele told fans in June 2020 to "be patient" when she was asked about a .
The yet-to-be titled album will be the first record in five years.
Her most recent album to date is 2015's 25, which featured the hit songs Hello and When We Were Young.
The singer recently told fans she was "so excited" but "terrified" to host the famous show.
