Gary Lineker’s brother Wayne turns to Celebs Go Dating to find love

WHEN it comes to dating, most blokes of a certain age reach a level of sheer desperation before their pals step in to stop it becoming embarrassing.

But it seems it’s too late for Wayne Lineker, brother of Match Of The Day star Gary.

The club owner has decided that E4 series Celebs Go Dating is his fastest route to finding love.

An insider said: “Wayne thinks it’ll be good for him to meet women outside his usual Ibiza nightclub circles.

“He is used to being centre of attention so this show will be perfect for him.

"Filming started this week and he’s already caused lots of laughs.”

Wayne, who owns Ocean Beach club and Lineker’s Bar on the White Isle, came under fire last month for posting a list of requirements for future girlfriends on Instagram.

They included being able to cook, having a toned body and looking like a “worldie”.

CGD isn’t my cuppa but I’ll be tuning into this series for the laughs.
