Danish man has Liam Gallagher’s ‘homophobic’ tweet tattooed on his leg and calls it art

DANISH artist Kasper Nørlund has had Liam Gallagher’s “homophobic” tweet tattooed to his leg as part of an art project.

After the Oasis star, 43, was forced to apologise for tweeting a derogatory term for gay people, the artist decided to have his words immortalised on his body forever.

Liam initially caused outrage while tweeting about Russian football fans rioting in the streets of Lille, France, during the European Championships last week.

He wrote: “Russian hooligans skintight shorts bumbags batty boy muscles ha ha I’d be more worried bout getting me arse pinched LG X,” before following it up with an apology that stated: “If I've upset anybody with my tweets I apologise that includes you RKID as you were LG x.”

Many branded his words “homophobic,” before linking them to the recent Orlando massacre at gay club Pulse where 49 people were murdered.

Kasaper has since opened up exclusively to The Sun Online about his unusual inking.

He tells us: “It is not a personal attack at Liam Gallagher. If a celebrity tweets a statement that he or she then for some reason deletes, it qualifies for my Tweettoo project.”

The artist already has other Twitter tattoos across his body, including the words of Justin Bieber and Lana Del Ray which he plans on unveiling in the future.

He adds: “The Tweettoo Project is a work-in-progress art project that explores the powerful combination of celebrity and social media.  Anyone can thoughtlessly say offensive things they regret but when you do it on the internet it will stay there forever. Like a tattoo. Combine this with an audience of 1 million followers and you have a situation that could easily get out of control.”
