Mick Jagger among first to meet Ronnie Wood’s new twin daughters, star reveals
Rolling Stones guitarist shares new photos of daughters Gracie Jane and Alice Rose — and reveals he cut their umbilical cords
MICK Jagger was one of the first people to visit Rolling Stones band mate Ronnie Wood’s new twin daughters, the star has revealed.
The 69-year-old guitarist has unveiled pictures of his and wife Sally Humphreys newborns for the first time and told how Mick, 72, was desperate to meet them.
He said: “Mick popped in on the third day.
“He couldn’t wait to see them, I put one in each arm and took a photo.
New dad Ronnie is currently with Mick, Keith Richards, 72, and Charlie Watts, 75, recording a new album of original Rolling Stones material.
Theatre producer Sally, who is 31 years his junior, gave birth to the twin babies — her first with Ronnie — at the beginning of the month.
The couple cried tears of joy when the girls, named Gracie Jane and Alice Rose, arrived.

She told Hello: “Ronnie cut the cords and we just held our babies and looked at their little faces.
“We both cried. You are just so happy and emotional, the tears are just there.
“Ronnie is so completely committed to being a dad, helping me, looking after us all.
“I’ve never been a mother before so all I know is this.
“And this is pretty good so far.”
The twins are Ronnie’s fifth and sixth children following two previous marriages.
The rockstar has already been showing off his music skills to his new daughters — as well as changing their nappies.
He added: “I’m the burper, walker, nappy changer and I’m still trying to work out when I can get to sleep in between all that.
“I have played the guitar to them and when I get round to it I will do some drawings.
“At the moment I’m just soaking up every moment we have.
“I have Sally, I have my beautiful family and I have two little gorgeous dolly girls.
“All I can think is that someone up there really likes me.”
