I’m A Celeb champ Vicky Pattison says she’ll strip to bikini again – if she’s paid enough
FORMER Jungle Queen Vicky Pattison has said she is happy to strip to her bikini when she returns for the new series — as long as she is paid enough.
Geordie Vicky, 32, won the show in 2015 and was regularly seen stripping down to her to shower in the sweltering Australian jungle.
And she said she could be tempted to do so again when she returns for the new series, starting tonight in freezing North Wales.
Vicky told The Sun on Sunday: “You can always pay me enough money to do anything. Just want to put that out there.
“I’m really glad I was able to do the full going out to Australia, popping your bikini on, jungle showers. You get really sticky and dirty because it’s really humid and you dry really fast.
“I dread to think how long it’s going to take everyone to dry in the freezing Welsh weather.”
But Vicky, now a qualified personal trainer, cannot promise the same bikini body viewers saw five years ago.
Vicky, who released her Quiz clothing range this month, said: “If you look at the reasons why most women train it’s because of a big wedding coming up, a weekend with the girls or a holiday with their fella.
“We’ve had that taken away because of lockdown so I think there will be lots more squishy midriffs this Christmas and some more jiggly butts.
“I just think it’s absolutely fine. It’s been such a tough year.”
Vicky saw her career sky-rocket after her victorious stint on the ITV show.
She returns to this year’s series, being filmed at Gwrych Castle, near Abergele, in a special guest appearance along with 2012’s winner Charlie Brooks, 39, and Towie’s Joey Essex, 30, who came fourth in 2013.
Vicky said: “I love that they’re rolling with the punches as 2020 needs something familiar. We’ve had so much uncertainty and so much fear and so much loss and I think the British public need this.”
Vicky is happy to return to the show, about to start its 20th series — but said for years she could not even watch it as she was so jealous of the other contestants.
She said: “It was such an amazing turning point in my career that I couldn’t watch it.
“I was really precious and I was so jealous about anybody else going on it. But enough time has passed and I’ve done enough other shows to be able to watch it as a spectator.”
