Harry Redknapp buys dog-friendly bouquets for his flower-munching pooch

HARRY Redknapp’s bulldog Barney munches flowers to get attention at home — so he buys him bouquets that are safe to eat.

The ex-footie boss, 73, has spent £110 so wife Sandra’s displays don’t get scoffed in Dorset.

So far I'm A Celeb winner Harry has made four orders of two full bouquets and two smaller posies for his pampered pet.

Florist Sophie Townsend said: "I've been asked to make bouquets safe for pets before but this is the first time I've made flowers specifically for a pet.

"He's a big dog and I think he generally gets what he wants.

"From what I've heard he never runs into flowers when he is on his own - only when people are around as a way of showing off.

"This way allows him to do that and still be safe which is the main thing."

Barney earned himself a reputation on Harry's ITV show over the summer after he was regularly filmed in Sandra's flowerbeds.

As well as Barney, he has a dog called Lulu and he previously had another named Rosie.
