IT'S PERRIE DIFFICULT

Little Mix make first appearance since Jesy Nelson went on ‘extended break’ as Perrie says band ‘never sleep’

Little Mix have made their first appearance since Jesy Nelson went on an “extended break” as the girls spilled secrets on The Jonathan Ross Show.

Perrie Edwards, 27, and bandmates Jade Thirlwall, 27, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, 29, will be seen discussing their ten-year career, love in lockdown and drink-dialling Taylor Swift in tonight’s programme.

Perrie says: “I don’t think we expected it to be this hard.

“When you’re young and think of being a popstar, you think, ‘Oh I want everyone to love me and ask for my autograph…’ then you get thrown into it and you’re like, ‘Holy s*** balls it’s a lot.’

“We don’t rest, we don’t sleep. But we love success so we’re willing to work for it.”

Bandmate Jesy Nelson, 29, is absent from the ITV show tonight for private health reasons.

Earlier this week it was revealed that Jesy is taking “extended time off” from the band for private medical reasons.

We then revealed that Jade, Perrie and Leigh-Anne are going solo, with each involved in secret plans to launch individual careers next year at the end of their existing deal.

Jesy is also in talks over plans for her own solo career which will resume as soon as she’s feeling better.

However, Jade has insisted the group “will never die” even if the girls do end up branching out.

We revealed earlier this week that the pop superstars are considering going solo

The Sun revealed that she is being courted by the BBC for a series of high-profile hosting gigs after impressing bosses on their shows The Search and RuPaul’s Drag Race UK.

But speaking to  yesterday, she said the girls need the group.

“You know, eventually in the future we might go off and do our own bits and bobs – but Little Mix will literally never die,” said Jade.

“We’ve always said that – we’re like, we always need Little Mix. I think it’s nice that people are starting to do their own bits and bobs.”

“I definitely want to travel more and see more fans all over the world.”
