One staggered fan replied: "Hey, a Marilyn Monroe look alike, wow!!! hair n makeup sensational. 👀👀👀😍."

Another raved: "You look GORGEOUS Gem - love you 💕💕."

Marilyn, a sex symbol throughout the 1950s and early 60s, was famous for playing 'blonde bombshell' roles.

Gemma meanwhile has lost three stone in recent months through a mixture of diet, exercise and controversial weight-loss jabs.

Speaking on Instagram, the star opened up about the injections, saying: "They have transformed my whole life with regards to dieting."

She has treated herself to various other procedures since shedding the pounds, including a hydro oxygen facial back in August.

Gemma also had a painful "jawline tightening" treatment to make herself look permanently contoured.

Last month, the star opened up about the horrific fat-shaming she had experienced, saying she was once followed around an airport by a man chanting "fatty, fatty".
