FOLLOWING in the footsteps of David Beckham and Ronaldo before him, Joey Essex has stripped down to his Calvin Klein underwear for a hot new photo shoot.

Putting politics to one side for the moment, the former Towie star-turned-voice of a generation, has clearly been hitting the gym as he shows off his killer six-pack and rippling biceps.

He sent his fans into meltdown last month when he teased a behind the scenes shot.

Not giving much away about the reason why he was going in front of the lens, the 25-year-old wrote alongside it: "Behind the scenes pic. iPhone camera is decent ya get me #NoFilter."

He of course isn’t the first celeb to enter the tighty whitey modelling game.

While Scottish DJ Calvin Harris, 32, sent hearts racing last year when he was announced as Emporio Armani’s go-to bulge.

And this is not Joey’s first time going topless in the name of art.

Earlier this year he appeared sans shirt in an ad for Cup A Soup’s ‘Deliciously Thick’ range.

Seen strutting from a bedroom to a kitchen dressed in nothing but a pair of jogging bottoms, he poses with a mug in one hand and smiles for the camera as a tag line reads: ‘incredibly tasty, phenomenally thick.”
