Vicky Pattison installs ‘The Fear’ into boyfriends to stop them checking out other women in front of her
The Geordie Shore star said makes sure her technique keeps them in check
VICKY Pattison has admitted that she likes to use ‘The Fear’ with new boyfriends to stop their roving eyes.
The Geordie Shore star says she usually gives it about six weeks during which time she plays the perfect girlfriend before reeling them in.
The 28-year-old was appearing as team captain on a brand new panel show called It’s Not Me It’s You that started on Channel 5 tonight.
The show is hosted by Eamonn Holmes and Vicky was joined on her team by The Saturday’s star Frankie Bridge and comedienne Katherine Ryan.
One of the questions was “is checking people out in front of your partner a deal breaker?”
Vicky said: “I’m telling you right now, no geezer of mine is looking at another woman. I don’t even want them making eye contact with their mam!”
Frankie asked her if it had ever happened to her, to which Vicky replied: “No. Because I adopt this really, really clever technique when going out with lads and it’s called The Fear.
“When I first meet a lad I act the perfect girlfriend, I pretend I like football, I pretend I like all their knobby mates, I'm just easy going and loads of fun when I’m not – I’m a psycho.
“Then about six weeks in and they are well and truly hooked line and sinker, I start instilling the fear.
“They tell me they’re off out with their mates and I fix them with this look – “are you yeah?” and because it’s come out of nowhere, he’s petrified!
“He’s never looking at another women including his mam ever again.”

Vicky also spoke about the way that ex-fiancé Ricci Guarnaccio proposed to her and she felt obliged to say yes.
Vicky met Ricci on Geordie Shore and during the third series he proposed to her while they were on holiday in Mexico.
She told the show: “When someone asked me to marry them, they put it on the back of a plane, a banner. It was just awful but with such an ostentatious show of love like that, it is really difficult to say no.
“So if ever anyone wants me to do anything, put it on the back of a plane and I’m guaranteed to say yes.”
