Who is Colman Domingo?
Born on November 28, 1969, Colman Domingo is an American actor from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Due to his Belizean and Guatemalan heritage, Colman also has the distinction of becoming the first Afro-Latino to be nominated for the Academy Award's Best Lead Actor.
After graduating from Temple University's journalism program, he relocated to San Francisco, California; where he began acting in theatre.
Since then, he has starred in several movie, TV, and Broadway productions.
Before his mainstream success, Colman had recurring roles in Law & Order, Nash Bridges, and The Big Gay Sketch Show.

"We passed each other. We never spoke," the Oscar nominee recalled on .
"A few days later, I'm on Craigslist tryna buy a used computer to help with my writing.
