Celebrities go crazy for Adele’s triumphant Glastonbury set
The singer sent the famous folk of Twitter into meltdown with her sass, humour and brilliant performance
ADELE headlined her first Glastonbury set last night and it wasn’t just us mere mortals who loved every second of her performance, she also left the celebrities of Twitter in high emotions.
An array of famous folk from Geri Horner to Alistair Campbell were quick to make her feel their love.
Even before the 28-year-old singer took to the stage, she managed to charm Emma Willis so much that she wanted to be her mate, tweeting: “Just watched @Adele chatting at Glastonbury.. I’d like her to be my friend, she seems mega.. Looking forward to her set later.”
Just one song in Alexa Chung was already an emotional wreck, telling her followers: “First song and I’m dehydrated from crying #Adele”
While Jason Manford may have been left worried that he’d have a new comic rival, posting: “Haha absolutely love Adele! She’s a comic who can sing like an angel! #Glastonbury #Nationaltreasure”

Adele’s headlining set on the Pyramid Stage was a storming success, despite the singer being struck with nerves earlier in the day.
The Sun exclusively revealed that her manager was overheard saying: “She’s nervous. She hasn’t got here yet. I think anyone would be nervous playing in front of that crowd.
“I’m nervous myself. I’ve got a twinge!”
Well all signs point to the nerves certainly being worth it.
