Kanye West challenges ‘celebs’ featured in Famous video to take legal action against him
Rapper continues to court controversy as he tweets and then deletes fighting talk message online
NEVER one to shy away from controversy, rapper Kanye West has goaded anyone unhappy about the music video for his latest single Famous to ‘sue’ him.
In a since deleted tweet, he wrote: “Can somebody sue me already #I’llwait.”
The clip which was premiered on Tidal Friday night by the 39-year-old, contains a whole host of famous lookalikes completely naked in bed with him.
They include Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Caitlyn Jenner, Chris Brown, George W. Bush, Donald Trump, Anna Wintour and Bill Cosby.
Kanye’s wife Kim Kardashian also features in the ultimate celeb sleepover.
“Taylor is p***** to say the least!”
Blank Space singer Taylor had already kicked off over a reference to her in the song’s lyrics.
She claimed that despite his claims to the contrary, Kanye had not sought her approval over the track which brands her a “b****”.
But The Sun exclusively revealed last week that a taped phone conversation exists where Taylor’s permission was given.
Her lawyers sought to have the recording destroyed.
A source close to Kanye said: “Taylor got her lawyers to threaten Kanye and demanded that the recording was killed.
“They stressed the phone call was confidential and that publishing it would violate her rights.
“It validates that a taped conversation where Taylor was on board with the song does exist, and just shows how worried she is about the truth coming out.”
Speaking to Vanity Fair about the jaw-dropping video, Kanye said: “It’s not in support or anti any of [the people in the video].
“It’s a comment on fame.”
