STRICTLY Come Dancing's Giovanni Pernice and Ranvir Singh did nothing to dispel the growing romance rumours as they put on a steamy display in tonight's semi-final.

Professional dancer Giovanni, 31, affectionately kissed 43-year-old Ranvir's head after their first routine - and was caught tenderly stroking her hand.

The pair wowed judges with their romantic Waltz at the start of the show, and he gushed: "Stunning, stunning, beautiful" to his celebrity partner as they headed to the panel for their comments.

Prior to this, they were shown cuddling up on a sofa in their video trailer.

Ranvir became overwhelmed as she watched messages of support from her nearest and dearest during rehearsals, and placed a hand on hunky Gio's chest as he pulled her in for a cosy embrace.

The loved-up displays weren't lost on viewers at home, who flocked to Twitter to insist that the pair are secretly dating.

One fan wrote: "If Ranvir and Giovanni don't get together I'm cancelling my TV license."

Another gushed: "I can’t wait for Giovanni and Ranvir’s wedding. They love each other".

A third tweeted: "Giovanni kisses Ranvir more than my actual husband kisses me."

Yesterday, Giovanni revealed that he is Ranvir's WhatsApp profile picture as he shared a sneak peek at their late night messages.

The pair's sizzling chemistry has been raising eyebrows since they were first paired together for the BBC One dance show - and judge Shirley Ballas has commented on their "flirting and teasing" in the routines.

Giovanni was even caught whispering "come on baby" to Ranvir as they danced together last weekend, with the private moment picked up by his microphone.

But the duo also turn up the heat when they're not performing, with Gio affectionately kissing his partner's head while listening to the judges' feedback, and calling her a "beautiful princess" on social media.

When she was first announced as a Strictly competitor, Ranvir admitted she'd be open to the show's infamous curse, adding: "Well, I am single!"

The GMB star recently split from husband Ranjeet Singh Dehal, who she shares eight-year-old son Tushaan with.

Giovanni previously dated two Strictly contestants in Georgia May Foote and Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts, who he broke up with in January.
