Ranvir Singh shares rare pic of son Tushaan, 8, after he got a new haircut inspired by Strictly’s Giovanni Pernice
STRICTLY Come Dancing star Ranvir Singh has shared a rare snap of her son Tushaan, after he got a dramatic haircut inspired by Giovanni Pernice.
It seems eight-year-old Tushaan was keeping up with mum's Strictly stint, finding inspiration for his new 'do from her dancing partner, Giovanni Pernice.
On her Instagram story, Ranvir shared a 'before' photo of Tushaan's shoulder-length black locks, writing: "From this... My little boy...!"
It was quickly followed by the 'after' photo of his newly-chopped crop – which does bear significant resemblance to Giovanni's hair.
She joked: "To this! It's the influence of @pernicegiovann1"
Ranvir, 43, also took to Stories to share her own new haircut, following her exit from Strictly on Sunday – despite being a fan favourite.
The TV star later admitted on Lorraine that her energy dipped slightly towards the end of the series, as the responsibilities of motherhood came first during filming.
She confessed: "I think it's just a build-up of a lack of sleep and working, and then obviously I have got a son to go home to so I couldn't really train until 10pm.
"I needed to go home, that's my job, my main job is being a mum so it's a lot of juggling but it was amazing to do."
Tushaan is Ranvir's only child, who she shares with ex-husband Ranjeet Singh Dehal. The couple split shortly before Strictly began.
It's believed that Ranvir is currently single – which has certainly helped fuel (often refuted) rumours of romance between her and Giovanni.
On GMB, Ranvir told co-host Susanna Reid about the couple's 'deep' and 'intense' experience, though insisted she and Giovanni were no more than friends.
"We've experienced something quite deep and quite intense actually. That's a very special thing so of course we'll stay friends."
In her most recent Instagram snap, featuring the two of them in full ballroom attire, Ranvir didn't allude to the couple's post-show relationship in any way.

Instead, Ranvir penned a heartfelt thank you to fans for supporting her on the series and enjoying the duo's performances.
She wrote: "Thank you for all the heartfelt responses since Sunday - the one good thing about being out of is you really start to realise how much it meant to you at home.
"You don’t have time to reflect or pause when you’re working so hard each week but now the pace has slowed down it’s pretty amazing to read the comments and hear how touched you’ve been by watching and I dance.
"To know a single person has felt inspired is wonderful but to see so many say the same thing is bloody wonderful, and a win in itself.
