New series of Geordie Shore will be filmed in Colombia after Covid shut Newcastle’s bars and nightclubs

IF you thought the hangovers in Newcastle were bad, the cast of Geordie Shore have another thing coming.

I can reveal the hard-partying MTV show will be taking its cast out to Colombia for its 2021 series.

The decision comes because the show’s North East homeland will not have the usual bars and nightclubs open to make the reality TV hit work – but Colombia will.

A source said: “MTV has pretty much invited back all Geordie Shore’s cast, past and present, for a huge special next year out in Colombia.

“Hanging out on a paradise isle with cocktails a-plenty couldn’t be a more dramatically different backdrop for the cast than their usual haunts.

“But it’s just what the Geordie Shorers need – and fans want to see – after a year cooped up at home.”

The show will be taking its gang of caners out to a paradise island just off the country’s mainland in spring.

Colombia won’t know what to make of them all.

But the Geordie revellers probably won’t know what’s hit them, either.
