Lucy Mecklenburgh celebrates £1m turnover and bumper year as fans flock for diet and fitness advice in lockdown
LUCY Mecklenburgh has celebrated a £1 million turnover and bumper year in 2020, with fans flocking for diet and fitness advice in lockdown, The Sun can reveal.
The 29-year-old fitness queen has seen a huge jump in profits from her own Results Wellness and Lifestyle brand.
The online platforms offer fitness plans and dietary advice to fans as well as workouts, with new books for 2020 showing a healthy leap in cash flowing into the firm.
Figures show a cash surplus of £303,671 – up from £165,043 in 2019.
The balance sheet also reveals that Lucy - who owns a property firm too -employs five people, and paid almost £130,000 in tax last year - meaning the outfit turned over close to £1million.
As if that wasn't enough, Lucy's fiancé Ryan Thomas recently branched out with a new business venture of his own.
The hunk, alongside his brothers Adam and Scott, recently launched the Oh My Glaze food sauce brand.
They’ve created a range of dipping sauces and marinades that they hope to persuade supermarkets to stock, with the product aimed at the wraps and wings market.
The brand – using the slogan Wrapin’ Up & Wingin’ It - was founded in Manchester by Adam’s The Spinn partner Scott as a street food business flogging wraps from a van in the city centre.
But now the brothers are investing in the firm despite the pandemic.
As if the flourishing businesses weren't enough to make 2020 a good year for Ryan and Lucy, they also welcomed their first child.
Baby Roman was born in March, with the pair delighting social media followers with regular updates on how they are adapting to parenthood ever since.
