ZOE Ball has claimed that her dead cat Monkey is haunting her home after her son Woody heard it miaowing.
Speaking on her Radio 2 Breakfast Show yesterday, Zoe spoke about the tragic passing of their two-year-old pet cat a few weeks ago.
"We lost our cat a couple of weeks ago and it is still getting us," she shared.
"Woody is obsessed his ghost is in the house as he can hear him miaowing. But I think it’s all in his head.”
Monkey was hit by a car and killed in a tragic accident at the age of two on December 11.
The 50-year-old star paid touching tribute to the ginger feline on her Instagram page, with Zoe writing: "Our beautiful cat Monkey has gone to monkey heaven. He was a great adventurer, so chatty, full of love & always up for a fireside cuddle.
"We are heartbroken. Thank you to the kind people who found him & called us. Rest well you magic ginger bundle. ✨✨✨".
Zoe's son Woody, who shot to fame on Channel 4 series The Circle, revealed more details of Monkey's untimely death on his own social media page.
Sharing a selection of photos of the cat, and some of their other family pet Toasty, Woody wrote: "Sad News. Monkey my lovely partner in crime was hit by a car last night.
"He is no longer with us - a tragic accident took him too soon at not even 3 years old. I hope he’s climbing trees somewhere else now."
