Showing the behind-the-scenes of his high-profile signing, the BBC iPlayer mini-series, Mark Wright: The Last Chance, will premiere in January 2021.

The show will see the TV presenter train for regular appearances in Crawley's squad, while aiming high to climb into the FA Cup in a game against Premier League side Leeds United.

Mark made his debut on the pitch for Crawley last week, despite being unable to play yet because of his late signing.

He was spotted stretching and kneeling on the pitch alongside his team-mates before a game against Leyton Orient.

The former Towie star signed for Crawley Town on December 14 for an undisclosed fee, and will be able to play on the pitch from January.

His wife Michelle Keegan admitted she was bursting with pride at his appointment to the squad, congratulating him on Instagram.

The 33-year-old wrote: "Never known such a hard working, determined person. The word 'can't just isn't in [his] vocabulary."

Mark started his football career as a teen as the Tottenham Hotspur youth team captain, fringing on the first team.
