PIERS Morgan knew he'd put on a few pounds in lockdown but got a shock when he couldn't fit into his Christmas jumper for Good Morning Britain.
The 55-year-old host was feeling festive as he squeezed into a festive knit adorned with penguins for today's Christmas special.
But the feeling was short-lived as he realised he couldn't move in the "tight" sweater and had to be cut out of it by wardrobe.
"I always wear a silly jumper on Christmas and I've worn one here with penguins to reflect the fact that I often identify as a two spirit penguin as you know," he said.

Susanna Reid - who previously lost weight by giving up alcohol - admitted she's also put on "a few pounds" this year.
"Yes and I have put on, let's say quite a few pounds, in lockdown and over the year," she said.
The pair were later later joined by the Body Coach Joe Wicks, 34, for a virtual interview.

And even the nation's virtual PE teacher admitted he lets himself go on Christmas Day.
"100%. Look on Christmas Day, I don't do any exercise, eat as much as I can, then fall asleep, then wake up and go again and try to eat as much as I can. I love it." he said.
"Christmas Day is all about food and being lazy and watching movies. I'm looking forward to getting stuck in later on."
