FORMER Bond beauty Gemma Arterton displays some seriously naughty habits playing a nun in the big Beeb festive drama Black Narcissus.
As convent leader Sister Clodagh her romping days are meant to be over — but she does not have a prayer when temptation comes.
After her order moves to a spooky school up a mountain in Nepal, it unleashes some of the nuns’ pent-up sexual desires.
Sister Clodagh led from the front when the three-parter kicked off on Sunday — having X-rated flashbacks to a passionate fling before devoting herself to God.
She was nun too pleased about that — and last night saw her whipping herself to try to stop remembering her old sex life.
But it’s not all in the past as the school’s hunky handyman Mr Dean, played by Alessandro Nivola, 48, has caught her eye and led her into temptation.
But some viewers were shocked by some of the steamier scenes.
One said: “I was stunned. I wasn’t expecting to see a nun having erotic fantasies in a show going out just after Christmas.”

Tonight’s finale puts Sister Clodagh on a collision course with Sister Ruth, played by Irish actress Aisling Franciosi, 27, who also has her eye on Mr Dean.
The BBC One drama is a remake of the 1947 movie.
Gemma, 34, is no stranger to on-screen sex scenes, having romanced 007 as MI6 agent Strawberry Fields in 2008’s Quantum of Solace.

IT may be a slow-burner, but Black Narcissus sizzles with a sexual tension that has you hooked.
At the heart of its pulling power is the idea bedding a nun is the most scandalous sexual desire imaginable.
And Mr Dean has two sisters praying he’ll lead them astray.
Get it on catch up if you’ve not already seen it.
But be warned — you’ll never look at nuns in the same way again.
