Love Island’s Troy dashes Tina’s dreams as he confesses she’s not his type during VERY awkward first date
The blonde also confronted him about whether he was faking his feelings
SHE finally thought she had found the man to couple up with during her time on Love Island but it looks like Troy won’t be the one for Tina.
The former Made In Chelsea star is left red-faced and squirming on tonight episode as the latest lad to join Love Island confesses that she isn’t her type.
The new couple clashed as they headed out of the villa for a very awkward first date – which no doubt did nothing to soothe Tina’s fears about him.
As they sat and sipped sangria Troy – who who has already been accused of being a game player – told her: “My ideal type is Spanish or something. We’re from two different backgrounds. You are quite gullible and ditzy.”
Clearly upset Tina disagreed, saying: “I’m a little bit up in the clouds, I would say. I always get told it’s really endearing though so don’t put me down on it.”
Just hours before their date they had exchanged words after Olivia told Tina about Oliver’s words of warning before he left.
Olivia told the group and Tina: “[Oliver] said, I can’t fake anything in here with anyone, but [Troy] can.”
Not surprisingly worried that Oliver’s comments may ring true, Tina spoke to Troy face to face about her concerns.
She said to him: “What I’ve been told, it’s not very nice to hear is it? I was told that I was the easy option. That [Oliver] can’t fake things and that you can. I don’t know you and obviously there is doubt. The issue is whether you said I was the easy option.
Feeling that Oliver was just annoyed about being dumped from the Island, Troy told Tina: “He’s going to get into your head because he’s p***ed. You’re not an easy option for me. Why are you an easy option when we’re from two different backgrounds? Whatever he said to you, I’m still going to crack on to you. I still think you’re fit and I do think we’ve got a connection. That’s not going to make me back off from you.”
