Alaskan Bush People’s Billy Brown isn’t going to get better after defying doctor’s orders
ALASKAN Bush People's Billy Brown has passed away at the age of 68 after it was previously revealed the reality star was not going to get better.
His son, Bear Brown, confirmed the shocking news on Instagram on Monday.
The caption read: "We are heartbroken to announce that our beloved patriarch Billy Brown passed away last night after suffering from a seizure... we plan to honor his legacy going forward, and to continue with his dream."
Billy Brown had been risking his health after deciding to defy doctor's orders and live on the mountain.
The 68-year-old had been in and out of hospital in recent years and was previously told by medical professionals that high altitude wasn't good for him.

In an Instagram post, Bear revealed that the family suffered a “devastating loss” after losing their home.
He captioned a series of photos of the forest fire: “A fire swept through our mountain, our home! The [loss] seems to be great! It’s still burning! I’ll keep everyone posted! God bless!"
