The Wanted’s Tom Parker says his brain tumour has ‘significantly reduced’ after rounds of chemotherapy
THE Wanted's Tom Parker has revealed his brain tumour is shrinking after rounds of chemotherapy.
Tom, 32, revealed in October that he had been diagnosed with a stage four glioblastoma, a terminal brain tumour.
Today he updated his 205,000 Instagram followers on his treatment and told them his positive news, saying he's fighting to stay alive "every day" for his family.
He shared: "SIGNIFICANT REDUCTION 💫🙏🏻 These are the words I received today and I can’t stop saying them over and over again.
"I had an MRI scan on Tuesday and my results today were a significant reduction to the tumour and I am responding well to treatment. Everyday I’m keeping on the fight to shrink this b*****d!
"I can’t thank our wonderful NHS enough. You’re all having a tough time out there but we appreciate the work you are all doing on the front line.
To my amazing wife @being_kelsey who has literally been my rock.
"My babies- I fight for you every second of every day.
"Friends, family and everyone on this journey with me- you have got me through my darkest days💪🏻💪🏻
"To everyone on here- your love, light and positivity have inspired me. Every message has not been unnoticed they have given me so much strength.

Tom's wife Kelsey Hardwick shared his post and said: "A lot of tears this morning, what a rollercoaster. But we keep fighting. The strength from you makes me so proud."
Meanwhile, his fans were delighted with his progress with messages of support flooding the comments.

Another penned: "Tom that’s the best news ever! Keep strong and determined ❤️❤️"
The dad-of-two bravely opened up about his cancer diagnosis last year, with wife Kelsey later admitting that she has asked doctors not to tell them how long he has to live.
He recently revealed the treatment for his cancer is causing him to suffer from devastating short-term memory loss.
He took to Instagram to talk about the symptoms of chemo and radiotherapy, adding that he forgets what he's "just done".
He told his fans: "As some of you know, I have been through chemo and radio, haven't I?

"It's the weirdest thing because like, I'll say to Kelsey, 'What did I just do?'
