Kate Garraway left fuming as Boris Johnson’s dad says getting second vaccine jab gives him ‘get out of jail free card’
GMB'S Kate Garraway fumed as Boris Johnson's dad today suggested getting a second vaccine jab could give him "get out of jail free card".
The 53-year-old looked shocked when Stanley Johnson admitted he was unaware about the rules set by his Prime Minister son.

Talking about getting his booster jab this month on Good Morning Britain, Stanley said: "I am very much looking forward to it. I'm going to be fancy free after that.
"One thing that is not quite clear to me is what rules will apply to people who have [had both jabs], will we get a get out of jail free card?
"We'll still have to be locked down even though we've been notionally been released."
Cutting in, host Kate replied: "They have made that quite clear, Stanley.

"Your son has been saying this is not just carrying on in a care-free way because we don't know if the vaccine protects you from spreading the infection.
"And if it works, it could only be reducing the impact of symptoms, which is a huge thing, but still means you have to be very careful."
Talking about his slip-up, Kate's co-host Ben said: "We saw Stanley Johnson talking about what he has to do and how he has to behave - or not really knowing how he has to behave.
"Fortunately Kate put him right. He's the Prime Minister's dad, but he didn't know, having had the second booster, what he can and can't do."

Explaining the rules in more detail, Dr Hilary Johnson insisted: "You still have to follow the social distancing rules and all the other guidelines because immunity isn't there for three weeks.
"You still have to be very careful, even after the vaccinations."
Kate's Covid-stricken husband Derek Draper remains in intensive care and is now the country’s longest-fighting Covid-19 patient.
Derek has lost eight stone and Kate admitted her sadness at seeing how much he has changed.

She's been banned from visiting Derek in hospital - potentially for the next six weeks - because of the strict lockdown rules.
Today's discussion came after Covid deaths in the UK topped 1,000 for the second day running, with more than 50,000 new cases recorded yesterday.
As a mutant strain spreads across the country, 1,162 more deaths have been confirmed and 52,618 new infections.
Last night, Boris Johnson vowed to vaccinate at least 200,000 Brits a day by next week — with the Army joining his Covid war.
The PM said that by next Friday, January 15, the rollout of the vaccine would be hugely ramped up, as he revealed that nearly 1.5million had been given their first dose so far.
Putting Britain on a war-footing in his new strategy to defeat the virus with "battle preparation techniques to help us keep up the pace" the PM laid out his plan for how to get there.
A new national booking service for people to be vaccinated will also be unveiled - and no one will have to travel more than ten miles to get one, the PM added.

He said more than 1,400 hospitals, GP practices and pharmacies would be immunising patients by the end of next week.

And he insisted he had "no doubt" that there would be enough supply to offer everyone in the top four vulnerable groups a vaccine by his February 15 deadline.
He added: "We are in a race against time, but I can assure you we are doing everything we can to vaccinate as many people as we can across the whole of the UK."
