Katie Price sets record straight after trolls slam hubby Kieran’s adoption plans
The glamour model was forced to set the record straight to her haters
KATIE Price has lashed out at online trolls who slammed her after she revealed that husband Kieran wants to adopt her son Harvey.
The glamour model was forced to defend herself after her followers said the decision wasn’t fair on her ex-husband Peter Andre who had been a good father to her eldest child.
The 38-year-old had shared a photo of a current magazine cover featuring her, Kieran, their children Jett, two, and Bunny, one, and 14-year-old Harvey.
She is quoted on the cover as saying Kieran is looking to adopt Harvey which some of her followers took objection to.
In the comments section next to the post, one wrote: “You also wanted Pete to adopt him, given how close they were saying that about Kieron (sic) is obviously trying to kick Pete in the teeth. Bitter, bitter, bitter!”
Another added: “Thought Pete has always wanted to adopt Harvey, after all Harvey has called him dad, that isn't fair on Pete when he has actually been the best dad.
“Kieron couldn't even stay faithful less than a year into the marriage. Pete always was faithful.”
But Katie, who split from first husband Peter – with whom she has son Junior, 11, and nine-year-old daughter Princess - in 2009 after three years of marriage, said Peter never wanted to adopt Harvey.
Responding to the trolls, she wrote: “Pete doesn't want to adopt Harvey and doesn't see him anymore and doesn't ask to see him anymore so don't judge on something you don't know about and Kieran is an a Omg with the children and even Pete will say that.”
In the interview with OK magazine, the cover of which Katie shared on her Instagram page, Kieran revealed that he would like to adopt Harvey, whose biological dad is former footballer Dwight Yorke.
Kieran, who married Katie in 2013, said: “I've always thought it would be good because I'd like us all to be connected. He is my child at the end of the day. Why not actually make him mine, because he feels like he's mine anyway? He's my stepson no matter what happens.”
He also hit out at Dwight for not being around for his son and giving him the support he needs, and added: “I've sent him pictures of Harvey but I never get anything back. Anyone can fill a pram, but it takes a real man to be a father.
“I think he's an absolute fool and it's a shame Harvey hasn't had the support he deserves from him.”
