One Direction’s Liam Payne treats birthday girl Cheryl to posh nosh at classy Mayfair restaurant

CHERYL chose a low key dinner at a classy Peruvian restaurant to celebrate her 33rd birthday with friends and her toyboy beau Liam Payne last night.

Her oversized black shirt and trouser combo was nothing short of eye-popping and her beaming smile said it all.

The birthday girl was ecstatic as she emerged from her chauffeur driven Mercedes in Mayfair with boyfriend Liam, 22, to toast her big day along with a string of friends including best friends Nicola Roberts and Lily English who posted photos to their Instagram to mark the big day.

Nicola said: "Happiest Birthday to Bel.. Love you so much."

While Cheryl's best pal Lily posted: "Wishing the happiest of birthdays to this beautiful soul."

Gentlemanly Liam helped Cheryl out of the car as they headed to Coya for dinner.

While both Cheryl and Liam have been keeping a low profile on their Instagram accounts of late, they appeared happier than ever as they entered upmarket member's club Coya.

Cheryl's fans had been sending her well wishes all throughout her birthday and she broke her social media silence to thank them.

She tweeted: "Thank you so much for all of my lovely birthday wishes! I had such a lovely day."

Cheryl and Liam went public with their split in Paris back in May when they attended the Global Gift Gala where the former Girls Aloud singer received an award for her charity work.

They have only been dating since December but rumours are abound that Liam is set to propose to Cheryl.

According to the Daily Star, Liam has already splashed out on a unique ring for his gorgeous other half.

Liam is believed to have forked out on the gift for her big day, but it could be more than just a birthday gift.

Last month, rumours about a wedding intensified when Cheryl and Liam attended his sister’s nuptials a few weeks ago and put on a loved up display as they arrived at the church in Wolverhampton.

And a source told Reveal magazine that Liam’s family were concerned that the romance wouldn’t last but added: “Cheryl has completely won them over, and now they’re both convinced she could be ‘The One’ that Liam could finally settle down with.”

The magazine also claimed that Liam’s sister Ruth was even heard joking on her big day: “You’ll be next,” to her brother.

The source added: “Karen is now convinced Cheryl is the perfect candidate to be Liam’s wife.”
