JIM Bob and Michelle Duggar defended their 18-year-old son Justin's engagement.
The parents insisted their kids make their own decisions about relationships "as adults."
The responded: "So far, our children have gotten married between the ages of 19-28.
"We always leave the decision of when to get married up to them as adults.
"We are so grateful for each of the Godly spouses they have chosen and we are excited to cheer each of them on life and love!!"
The 19-year-old was branded "over-dramatic" for making a "big deal" about the simple operation.
Claire created a large banner with Justin's face on it reading: "Praying for our Justin! We love you!"
She gushed on Instagram: "How I enjoyed getting to take care of this guy after his wisdom teeth surgery!!
The teen listed the Texas-based business Spivey Construction, which Claire’s father Robert launched in 2006, as his employer for a campaign donation, according to the Federal Election Commission.
His occupation is listed as “secretary” of the company.
His future wife Claire also has Secretary for Spivey Construction listed on her Instagram bio.

Jim Bob bought the Springdale, Arkansas home this past May for $35,500.
The mobile home boasts three bedrooms, two bathrooms and sits on a 4.01-acre lot, and Justin has since renovated it.
A Counting On fan recently asked Claire on Instagram about the timeline of her relationship with Justin.
The social media user asked: "I noticed you said you and Justin courted for 14 months, but on Counting On you announced to the family in May. Is there a stage before official courtship that you guys were in prior to announcing to the family?"

Claire replied: "We announced to the family for official documentation in May!! Until that time, everyone knew we were close 'friends' and we chose to not say we were official till May. So it was 14 months, we just kept 8 of them quiet."
She added that the couple is "so excited to spend the rest of our lives together!!";
