SUSANNA Reid has hit out at recent criticism of her cleavage, saying: "Shocker, woman have boobs."
The Good Morning Britain host made headlines this week for wearing a "sexy cleavage dress" on the ITV show.
On Wednesday viewers were quick to take to Twitter to comment on her eye-catching attire during an interview with Home Secretary, Priti Patel.
However, the star has defended herself against the comments by pointing out that "women have boobs".
Alongside two snaps of herself on GMB, she jokingly said: "SHOCKER! Woman has cleavage.
"Realised it is STILL before watershed so here’s a nice covered up version."
Susanna, who turned 50 last month, also insisted reaching the milestone was a "blessing".
Discussing her recent birthday, Susanna also told : "Age is not an issue any more.
"There is no longer a cutoff point for women in my job. Fifty used to be a looming date on the horizon where you thought, 'How much longer might I last?' I don't think that's the case now."
In fact, Susanna revealed there are plenty of successful woman in their fifties.
She later added: "Sophie Raworth rang me yesterday to wish me happy birthday. I went to school with her little sister. There's Emily Maitlis and Fiona Bruce and Kirsty Wark. It isn't an issue, so it doesn't hold fear.
"I don't feel like I'm in a battle. I've always joked that ageing is a blessing and I genuinely feel it. Especially over the past year, when things have been so dreadful."
Despite hitting the milestone Susanna is still clearly getting viewers hot under the collar, as Wednesday's show proved.
The dress commotion didn't go unnoticed on the programme either, with co-host Piers Morgan poking fun the next day.
Kicking off GMB on Thursday, Piers revealed a newspaper article about Susanna's outfit, telling viewers: "Yesterday, this huge historic day… But it was nothing to do with the inauguration.
"It was Susanna Reid's cleavage, which appears to have made a huge, huge impact on the nation. Susanna heats up breakfast - I hadn't really noticed, because obviously I don't objectify you in the workplace so I hadn't noticed."

Susanna quipped: "Women shouldn't have boobs at breakfast - they're for later on!"
He then read the article out, with the piece also referencing a time 11 years ago when the brunette beauty's outfit sparked complaints.

Piers continued: "Well here they are, 11 years later, and they are still complaining about your cleavage!
"I'm very relieved on behalf of the nation that you have decided to put them away today because we can't cope. We can't cope with that kind of heat at 6.43am in the morning."
