BIG Brother played cupid today and allowed Andy West's boyfriend to enter the house and pop the question.
Ed came into the house as part of the latest shopping task, where the housemates were tested on their loyalty to the other housemates.
They were periodically asked to enter the Other garden in groups, standing on revolving turnstiles with a button they can press if they decided to see what or who was on the other side.
As Ed pops a bottle of champagne for the pair, Andy is still in shock at seeing his Irish boyfriend.
The amused boyfriend laughs and said: "You weren't expecting that today were ya?"
Andy then weepingly asks Ed to marry him, to which the sly fellow replies: "Yes"
Delighted Andy adds: "Really?" and is then left in shock as Ed pulls out a ring from his pocket and gets down on one knee.
Delighted Andy then said: "I am so lucky. I knew it before, but being in here, I've been like 'I can't live without you!'"
Ed then reassures his now-fiancee by telling him: "You have made me stupidly proud."
Standing next to Evelyn, Laura and Emma, none of the housemates hesitated when it was revealed to them that their other halves were waiting for them behind them - except Evelyn, who was the only housemate of the group to not have someone waiting for her.
The 34-year-old journalist broke down in tears as he heard his boyfriend's voice, immediately pressing the button to allow them to be reunited.
Before the revelation, Big Brother promised a romantic meal and the opportunity to spend the night together in the 'Other' house that previously occupied a second set of housemate.
Ed said: "Hello my handsome beautiful gorgeous man. Hit that button baby - and let me see your face."
The emotional reunion was just the start for the elated Andy - who has been having a hard time in the house after getting into spats with several of the housemates.
