CHLOE Ferry failed to wear a mask as she finally left Dubai after she was slammed for an extended month-long holiday.

The 25-year-old star was hit by a backlash for travelling to the holiday destination amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic - and must self-isolate for 10 days now that she has arrived back home.

The former Geordie Shore favourite documented much of her journey home on her Instagram Story, flouting rules as she filmed from Dubai Airport and the plane without wearing a mask.

Chloe was wrapped up in a black padded coat, and had her hair tied back into a casual ponytail.

She filmed herself sipping on a Costa coffee and speaking to the camera with no protective face mask to be seen.

Guidance posted on airline Emirates' official website states: "You must wear a mask throughout Dubai International airport, during boarding, throughout your flight, and as you leave the aircraft."

She also failed to wear a mask for most of her eight-hour plane journey

Chloe did briefly put a mask on once she was on the plane but quickly took it off again - and was seen without one in the rest of her videos.

As she documented much of her eight hour flight - including each of her on-board meals - Chloe only wore her mask in one of the clips.

She was then excited to return home just in time to watch herself on the new series of Celebs Go Dating, which launched on E4 last night, with the star spotted wearing a mask once she touched down in the UK.

Chloe travelled to Dubai before the New Year despite widespread Tier 4 restrictions, and initially said that she planned to remain in the UAE for two months.

However, at the weekend the star told fans that she was "really excited" to be returning to the UK this week.

Reality stars and influencers have come under fire for jetting abroad despite Covid restrictions, with many stars insisting that the sun-soaked holiday destinations were "essential work trips".

However, Love Island star Olivia Attwood lashed out at the claims, insisting she'd done more work than any of them from her home in rainy Manchester.

Chloe Ferry to return from Dubai amid anger over celebs holiday during UK lockdown

One angry Brit previously tweeted: "Really is a kick in the teeth when we’re all stuck in the UK unable to go out or do anything and you’ve got all these celebs loving life in Dubai ‘working’."

Another fumed: "Honestly how are celebs allowed to travel to different countries when Covid is about.

"No wonder why it’s spreading even more!!! Not hating just saying!"

And other stars have also taken aim at their fellow celebs for going abroad during a pandemic, including Amanda Holden, Christine McGuinness, and even X Factor twins Jedward.
