He has become the surprise hit of the ITV2 show thanks to his commentary
HE has made us chuckle night after night thanks to his witty one-liners, cutting comments and hilarious observations on Love Island.
But who is the man who does the voiceover for the ITV2 show?
Meet Iain Stirling - the Scottish comedian, writer and TV presenter who is the secret star of the show.
Iain is originally from Edinburgh but is currently based in Manchester and London.
He started doing stand-up while in his final year of Law at the University of Edinburgh – yup, he’s intelligent too.
It wasn’t long until he was dubbed one of Scotland’s Hottest Newcomers and he started to make a name for himself on the comedy circuit.

His TV career started with a stint on children’s TV channel CBBC with a canine sidekick – Hacker T. Dog.
That wasn’t his only animal sidekick though as he also worked with Dodge the Dog, The Toad of Wisdom, and Pig With 'Tasche.
In 2011 he was nominated for the BAFTA for Best Children’s presenter – he went on to get two further BAFTA noms after that.
He is also well known for the CBBC show The Dog Ate My Homework which as was dubbed the children’s version on Mock The Week.
As well as his various kid’s TV roles – he has also been Russell Kane’s warm-up act on tour, appeared on Russell Howard’s Good News and Drunk History.
These days he’s moved on from kid’s TV to do something a little riskier – the voiceover for Love Island.
He has worked on the show since 2015 and has even occasionally appeared on camera with host Caroline Flack.
His hilarious commentary has gone down a storm with viewers of the show - who regularly tweet about him being the best bit of Love Island.
While he spends his evening's talking about flings and flirtation, he is in a long term relationship.
