Teen Mom Amber Portwood accuses baby daddy of ‘yelling’ during custody exchange as he says she cancels visits with son
TEEN Mom OG star Amber Portwood accused her baby daddy Andrew Glennon of “yelling” during a custody exchange, as he claimed she cancels visits with their son amid their nasty custody war.
Andrew, 36, has primary physical custody of their son James, 2, while , 30, has with the toddler.

The star claimed Andrew went against their custody agreement and the week of Christmas in court papers, as she requested the court grant a restraining order to stop him from interfering with her parenting time.
Now, The Sun can exclusively reveal Andrew is fighting back against her claims by filing a series of claims in opposition to Amber's request.
In one court filing, Andrew provided a calendar from October, November and December 2020.
In the month of October, according to the calendars, Amber allegedly asked to postpone visitation with James three times over “poor weather,” twice because she felt sick and once because her dog felt ill.
For November, she allegedly requested they postpone visitation twice because she felt sick and once because of the weather. Andrew postponed twice because James was ill.
As for December, Amber allegedly canceled three times because of “poor weather,” once because she felt sick and once because she had a conflicting appointment. Visitation was also allegedly postponed because there was a misunderstanding in the schedule and because of bad weather.
In another filing, Andrew provided their conversations from court app Our Family Wizard, where they communicate about their son.
On November 28, Andrew messaged Amber at 9:03am to tell her James is “sneezing” and “slightly congested.”

He offered to drop James off at 1pm when it’s 43 degrees, as opposed to 29 degrees at 10am.
At 10:03am, Andrew messaged Amber: “Temp is normal and sniffles gone, think it was just a morning thing? No more mucus and he’s charging around… If you want to head over, I don’t think we’ll have to wait until 1pm. Thanks.”
Amber responded: “I'm not understanding? He's sick last night and sick this morning however within a couple hours he's completely fine? I'm going to call the pediatrician because something doesn't seem right to me. Doesn't make sense.”
She then wrote: “Talked to 2 nurses and gave them all info you relayed to me… One said to probably wait and have him checked up. Said that even if he's running around he still can be sick. One said to probably let him rest today however please make sure to get a hold of his pediatrician soon or I can... just let me know so I can see him and make sure everything is okay.”
Andrew fired back: “He's fine. I know how to care for this child. No need to waste your time asking strangers about things you know nothing about.”
Amber replied: “I'm sorry? I was calling his pediatrician. I don't know what you mean by a stranger? I'm calling for James' health? I'm not sure what I don't know nothing about when it comes to James?… Just trying to keep him healthy. Please speak to me in a respectful way when it comes to our child. Thank you.”
Andrew then said: “No need for concern or apologies. I got this, as usual. We'll give him some time to rest and resume parenting time in a few days. Take care.”
On December 12, Amber suggested they change the visitation because there is “100 percent chance of rain.”
She wrote to Andrew: “Just don’t want the chunks getting sick again. Seems like every time lately he's been getting sick on days like this so honestly just trying to prevent that. Sunday and Monday there's no rain or anything it looks like so up to you and your scheduling. I am open. Let me know as soon as you can! If not just let me know and I'll be there at 10. Thanks I will hear from you soon.”
Andrew agreed to Monday.
On December 14, Amber asked to postpone again because she woke up with an earache, sore throat and headache.
She wrote: “I'm going to get medicine today and see how I feel. Let me know another day this week we can have a visit other than Wednesday of course. Check on James and look at his throat please because he was sneezing yesterday a little so I hope we are not sick. Keep him warm and let me know if he's ok when you have a chance. Talk soon.”
In another example, Amber told Andrew she “slipped and fell on melted hardened snow.”
The December 20 message read: “I landed on my side and twisted my back when I fell trying to catch myself. I'm in a lot of pain so I'm going to get a hold of my doctor but not much I can do except lay down and take ibuprofen. I can barely move at the moment. Maybe give me a bit if you can and see if ibuprofen works well enough. I can get back with you by 11 or do the make-up day another day. Up to you. I'll keep you updated.”
Andrew told Amber to “take care” of herself.
When Andrew gave Amber his travel itinerary for the week of Christmas, she responded: “I object to your travel plans and they are in violation of the court's order. I am entitled to my holiday parenting time. If you intend to travel, you can leave James with me and pick him up when you get back.”
Andrew didn’t respond and the two met at 2pm the next day on December 23 for a custody exchange.
Amber messaged him that day at 7:15pm: "Andrew, there is no need to yell at the parenting time exchange. In an attempt to clear up any confusion regarding the holiday parenting time, you can access a copy online.”
On December 30, Amber messaged Andrew: “Hey I'm here for the 10-8pm visit we agreed on for today. If you're not here in about 5 minutes or so we will change it to a different day I'm guessing. It takes me an hour to get here and an hour back.”
Andrew replied: “Just saw this, I have 2-6p on my calendar, sorry there was confusion… If you can give us about 20-25min I can have him there. He’s eating a breakfast quesadilla.”
Amber answered: “I've been waiting for a while now… What other days do you have available? Tomorrow possibly? I've already started driving...”
Andrew fired back: “Like I said, sorry for the confusion. If you can be patient for a little longer it would be greatly appreciated. Getting his things together now.”
Amber shot back: “I put on the schedule 10-8pm and also sent a message last night to remind you.”
The two ended up picking a different day to make up for the missed visit.
Then on January 1, 2021, Andrew wrote to Amber: “Figure you forgot about your entitled holiday visitation today with James you booked, we’ve been here a half an hour and are going to get on with our day and errands. No worries. Thank you.”
Amber said: “I didn't forget anything! I asked you for today which is not considered a holiday and you never said yes or no! You didn't even read my message to pick up James and I lost my visitation from 10-8pm that we agreed on for last Wednesday.
"You never agreed to give me today whatsoever or ever acknowledged the question at all. Thanks have a great day and I will be there on Sunday 10-8pm like we had agreed.”
As The Sun previously reported, Amber entered into Our Family Wizard that he will be traveling for Christmas from December 22 to December 27.
According to the December 23, 2020 court filing, Amber was supposed to have James from noon to 9pm on Christmas Day and on the same hours on the second-half of Christmas break.
The documents read: “[Andrew] has failed to comply with this court’s order to initiate the services of the Parenting Time Coordinator and [Andrew] is again attempting to deny [Amber] holiday parenting time over Christmas vacation, in violation of this Court’s Order.”
She claimed he denied her holiday parenting time on October 31, 2019 and December 24, 2019, as well.
Amber requested Andrew be “held in contempt of court,” which could result in jail time or a fine, for failing to follow the court’s custody order.
Amber requested a restraining order be granted against Andrew to prevent him from interfering with Amber’s parenting time.
They have a court hearing in February.
A source close to Amber exclusively told The Sun she is with her youngest child.
The insider said: “Amber has to drive four hours in one day to see him. She has lost so much time with him. She sees him three days a week.”
Amber, who is also mom to daughter Leah, 12, with ex-fiance Gary Shirley, is “fighting for her son.”

The source continued: “She has such a great relationship with Gary. She has never had to fight like this before. She wants at least half custody. That’s much more equal and much more time with James.”

Andrew filed for primary custody of James after Amber was against the cinematographer in July 2019.
She remains on probation from the arrest.
