Bankrupt Katie Price makes £2,500 in just five days selling old ‘stained’ tops and used shoes online
THRIFTY Katie Price has made £2,500 in just five days selling old "stained" tops and used shoes online.
The 42-year-old star has off-loaded 100 items - from clothes, to accessories, to shoes in just two sales on Friday and Wednesday nights.
The former glamour model had been plugging her jumble sale on app Depop for days on her social media accounts, and items went within minutes of being put up for purchase.
The most expensive sale was a Louis Vuitton scarf that went for £170, an LV purse for £150, a pair of Alexander McQueen trainers fetched £120, and a pink Prada purse was sold for £100.
And Katie, who was declared bankrupt in 2019 after failing to pay back spiralling debts, is banging the drum for another money-spinning de-clutter at the weekend.
She said told her 13,000 followers on Depop: “That's it for tonight! Thank you for your purchases. We will be back this Sunday 7th Feb at 7pm. Love Katie."
And many of the reality star's customers have been completely satisfied in the reviews - although one user complained about a "stained" top.
They wrote: "Was ok stain on the back of the top, but other than that ok."
Another purchaser gushed: “Markets the product in a really nice, easy to read way. You can see Katie Price shine through in the tone, and insight into her style is a plus.
