Dog The Bounty Hunter’s daughter Cecily sets the date for her wedding to fiancé Matty as she shops for the perfect dress
DOG The Bounty Hunter's daughter Cecily has set the date for her wedding to her fiancé Matty, The Sun can exclusively reveal.
The reality star, 27, also shared stunning private photos taken while she was wedding dress shopping, and said trying on dresses made her feel "like a queen" in a "fairytale."
Cecily announced she is planning to have a Christmas wedding on the beach in Hawaii - and is hoping she and Matty will be married by the same pastor who married her parents and Beth Chapman.
"Yes I have set the date and it’s going to be 12/1/21," she told The Sun.
"I’m super excited to announce that because it took us a while to agree on the same date.
"But we thought it would be nice to have a Christmas wedding in Hawaii on a white sandy beach.
"The ceremony is still up in the air, we still have to work out details such as who is going to marry us.
"I do have high hopes for our preacher who also married my parents, Tim Story.
"I’m inviting immediate family and friends from both sides depending on how the coronavirus is.
"We are still debating exactly how many people I can have and keep social distancing in place during the whole event.
"I’m praying that we can have as many people as we can, but I’m okay with having a small wedding if need be for safety reasons."
Cecily had originally planned to wear her late mom , telling The Sun it was the most beautiful dress she'd ever seen.
Beth died at just 51 on June 26th 2019 after .
Now Cecily is having reservations about having such a stunning dress altered - so decided to go shopping with a pal to figure out her options.
"I’m having second thoughts about wearing my mom's dress because there’s only one dress that’s super beautiful for her and it was custom-made to fit her body," she said.
"I also don’t want to alter it to where [my sister] Bonnie Jo wouldn’t be able to wear it if she ever decided to and it might be best just to keep it for a keepsake to remember her by, like a piece of memorabilia.
"But wedding dress shopping was really fun.
"I’ve got to say it didn’t feel real until I started trying on dresses and really getting the feels for getting married.
"I brought one of my best friends. I’m still unsure about the whole dress thing so I didn’t want to bring the girl gang - my bridesmaids - until I’m absolutely positive about whether I’m wearing my mom's or not.
"But I did feel like a queen in every dress I put on. It was definitely exciting and worth going just to make it feel real.
"It was my first time ever trying on a wedding dress. It just gives you butterflies like a fairytale."
The happy news comes after a tough time for Cecily, who has spoken openly about her struggles dealing with her mom's death and what she described
