‘Please make this stop!’ Jodie Marsh pleads with dating app to take action after teacher uses her photo for their profile
The bodybuilder tweeted her annoyance to Plenty of Fish
JODIE Marsh has been left fuming after discovering a user on dating app has used her photo on their profile.
The bodybuilder contacted dating site Plenty of Fish after she found out that a user calling themselves “ellenx78x” had posed as her.
Taking to her Twitter page, she posted a screen grab of the offender’s profile page, which states that “ellenx78x” is a 38-year-old teacher from London who “isn’t seeking a relationship or any kind of commitment.”
She pleaded: “Hi @plentyoffish someone alerted me to this: it’s a photo of ME – can you make this stop! Thanks.”
When no one from the international site replied, Jodie decided to tweet them again and wrote: “Failing that, anyone on @PlentyOfFish feel free to message ellenx78x telling her she is a fraud...”
The Sun Online has contacted Plenty of Fish and Jodie’s reps for comment.
Jodie, 37, is currently single after splitting from her husband James Placido in April, after less than a year of marriage.
The couple secretly tied the knot in Barbados in August after they met in a car park, and Jodie often referred to the personal trainer as her “soulmate”.
Despite announcing her intention to stay celibate for the foreseeable future – but is still planning to become a mother.
She recently vowed to have a baby via a sperm donor and said: "I've done a lot more research, I've met lots and lots of people and I'm now using a firm. I'm going with the British Surrogacy Centre to America."
But that’s not to say she’s sworn off men completely, especially after she singled out Love Island recruit Terry Walsh.
Posting a photo of the tattooed hunk on her Instagram page, she wrote: “Yes. Please.”
Jodie appeared on This Morning last week to discuss her plans to use a sperm donor – but the focus became all about her lipstick-covered teeth instead.
Viewers criticised host Holly Willoughby for failing to point out to Jodie that her plum-coloured lipstick had stained her teeth.
