Photo finished: Love Island’s Kady McDermott ‘stole fitness blog image and tried to pass off taut toned abs as her own’

KADY McDermott was forced to shut down her social media accounts after being outed for stealing a photo from a fitness blog - and pretending it was her.

The pretty brunette, currently appearing on ITV2 show Love Island, was mocked after she tried to pass off a picture of a tanned and lithe model as herself.

The undated image posted to the 20-year-old's Instagram account shows 'Kady' pulling up her green T-shirt to reveal toned, taut abs beneath.

She captioned it: "Hard work pays off."

However, it didn't take long for the internet to realise that it was someone else's hard work that had paid off.

The image had been stolen from wildly popular Instagram account Instafitsociety - but Kady had cleverly cropped out a tattoo on the model's hip it so it looked like her tummy.

Considering Instafitsociety has over 1 million followers, it was only a matter of time before she got caught out.

A source told The Sun: "When it came out that she'd been lying, she was forced to delete her Instagram and Twitter accounts as there was such a backlash."

But Kady is back on social media, and yesterday we revealed that Manchester make-up artist Bobbi Johnson was furious with her after she used pictures of her work and tried to pass them off as her own.

Bobbi says Kady took photos of HD brows she did on her close pal and claimed it was her work.

And just like the tummy picture she tired to pass off her as own, Kady carefully cropped Bobbi's image in an effort to make it look different from the original.

She told The Sun that she contacted Kady’s make-up page but they was told they are unable to remove the images while she’s in the Love Island villa.

Voicing her frustration, Bobbi said: “It’s embarrassing that she has to use other people’s photos to get make-up clients.

“I’m furious that she’s getting more clients because of my hard work.

“I’m really angry because it’s blatantly my picture.”

Last night viewers saw Kady and Scott Thomas - brother of ex-Corrie star Ryan - officially become boyfriend and girlfriend after weeks of bickering.
