ALASKAN Bush People star Billy Brown died in his Washington home as medics attempted to save him with CPR and called for an emergency helicopter.

A Washington Sheriff’s Office confirmed to The Sun that a call was made at 4:03pm on Sunday. 

The Sheriff told The Sun: “Medical requested a helicopter. It doesn’t appear he was transported to the hospital by medical. He passed away at the house.”

The Sheriff added that medics “attempted CPR” on the patriarch. 

He continued: “Medics and fire were on the scene a hour and a half before the Sheriff’s Office was called. We respond to all deaths. At this point, nothing suspicious or criminal.”

He captioned a photo of his mother and father: "We are heartbroken to announce that our beloved patriarch Billy Brown passed away last night after suffering from a seizure.

"He was our best friend - a wonderful and loving dad, granddad and husband and he will be dearly missed. He lived his life on his terms, off the grid and off the land and taught us to live like that as well.

"We plan to honor his legacy going forward, and to continue with his dream.”

The family also asked for "privacy and prayers" during the difficult time.

Noah shared the same words about his father's passing as his brother Bear, but instead uploaded a sweet photo of Billy holding Noah's son Elijah.

Rain called Billy her "hero" in a heartfelt tribute that she shared alongside a photo with her parents.

The caption read: "I lost a true friend. Not forever, but only in this world. Please hold my family in your thoughts and prayers, especially my mother."

"Please hold your family tight for me. Words cannot express how wonderful he was and is. But I will say, the closest thing to an angel I’ve ever known.

"God bless you dad I love and miss you dearly. You will always be my hero. God bless everyone."

TLC released in a statement to The Sun: “We are devastated to hear of Billy Brown’s sudden passing.  

"He has been part of the Discovery family for years - a trailblazer, a lovely man and most definitely one of a kind. Our heart is with his family and those that knew him and loved him as they deal with this devastating loss.”

Billy had been in and out of the  and was previously told by medical professionals that the high altitude wasn't good for him.

The father of seven decided to  and continue to live in the mountains with his family.

Billy's wife Ami told their adult kids that their father wasn’t going to get better on the show. 

The Browns left Alaska  of matriarch Ami and  so she could be treated at UCLA Medical Center.
