‘I don’t want to hear any bullsh*t lies’: Love Island’s Tom reveals whether he’ll take Sophie back after she quits villa for him
The Welsh hunk opens up about the love triangle in his ONLY interview on Sophie’s exit
THE woman he publicly declared his love for - before she cheated on him with another woman - has just left the Love Island villa to be with him but Tom Powell isn’t going to be waiting for her with open arms.
In his only interview about Sophie Gradon’s sudden departure from the ITV2 show, the Welsh star has exclusively told The Sun Online that he no longer trusts her and won't take her 'bullsh*t lies'… despite the fact he still loves her.
Tom was left devastated as he watched the brunette beauty move on with Katie less than 24 hours after his exit and then in shock move Sophie had a change of heart – dumping Katie and declaring her love for Tom.
Speaking about the betrayal he told us: “I don’t know if we can move on from this. I think the trust is totally gone.”
Coming to terms with the sudden turn of events, he told us: “My head is gone. I have no idea what to think . Two days ago I thought we were over for good – I thought she had moved on and she was happy and now it’s flipped on its head and she wants me. I’m in two minds. I don’t know if it is too late.”
Confused Tom admitted that he wanted Sophie to leave – but now he’s faced with seeing her again he’s not sure if they can move on.
Reiterating just how much she has betrayed him, he said: “I don’t trust her. I am just going to take it one step at a time and see what happened and see what she has to say.
“She needs to be 100% honest to me. If she tells me exactly what I want to hear then I am done. I don’t want to hear what I want to hear.”
Defiantly he added: “I don’t want to hear any bullsh*t lies.”
Tom believes that Sophie genuinely completely forgot about him when she started to grow close to Katie. Discussing what went through his head, he said: "It was horrible when she said she only remembers the bad times and she fancies this new girl and she was dogging me out. It was horrendous. My heart just sank – I felt like absolute sh*t, I’m not going to lie."
Things got worse for him as Katie picked Sophie to couple up with - which was a first for the show.
"Watching Katie choose her was OK but it was the reaction – how happy she was when she got chosen, giving her a kiss and a cuddle," he admitted.
"They were like we used to be. It made me feel like sh*t."
He went on to say that he has 'remained 100% faithful' to Sophie - denying that anything occurred between him and the girl in the Snapchat video, who was half dressed.
Now Tom is ready to meet up with Sophie and go over everything 'with a fine toothcomb'.
"I still love her," he said. "But I want to talk about it, I want to understand it. I want to know everything - no lies".
Love Island: Heading Home which is on ITV2 on Sunday 17th July at 9pm
