ALASKAN Bush People's Bear Brown said his dad Billy's tragic death is the "hardest time" for the family, as he thanks fans for their support.

Billy, 68, died at his Washington home earlier this month .

took to Instagram to thank fans for their support .

The 33-year-old also urged followers to tell those closest to them how much they love them.

He wrote: "Hello everyone! My Mom wanted me to personally thank everybody, for all the support in this very hard time! By far the hardest time of my family, the Wolfpack! Has ever been through!

"We have received condolences from all over the world! So thank you to all y'all guys from all over the world! It means a lot to us!!!"

"He was our best friend - a wonderful and loving dad, granddad and husband and he will be dearly missed. He lived his life on his terms, off the grid and off the land and taught us to live like that as well.

"We plan to honor his legacy going forward, and to continue with his dream.”
