Geri Horner and Emma Bunton enjoy a Spice Girls day out as they get ready for their big reunion
Baby joins Ginger at the Grand Prix as they start to plan their Hyde Park revival show
GERI Horner and Emma Bunton had a Spice Girls day out today as their family joined forces to watch the British Grand Prix.
Baby and Ginger headed to Silverstone to support Geri’s (formerly Halliwell) husband Christian Horner who is who is the Team Principal of the Red Bull Racing Formula One team.
The girls looked happy as they were joined by their families.
Emma was accompanied by her husband Jade Jones, who she has been with since 1998.
The couple brought along their children Beau and Tate.
Geri, who wed Christian last year, had her only child Bluebell with her.
Meanwhile, the today's pics come as the girls confirm they WILL be making a comeback - albeit without two founding members.
Mel B, Geri and Emma officially revealed their return in a video message this week on the 20th anniversary of their debut single Wannabe, in which they unveil their new name Spice Girls Gem.
The title is an acronym of the remaining members’ names and separates them from the original group after Victoria and Mel C ruled themselves out of the reunion.
In the message on their newly launched site, which starts with a shot of the trio (pictured), they said:
“You’ve stood by us for 20 years and we want to say a big thank you.
“We’ve had our ups and downs but you have always been there.
“We want to celebrate and have a party, and when we do, you’re invited.”
They didn’t give much away about what they are planning, but just two days ago I revealed they will be throwing their party at Hyde Park next summer.
After running out of time to organise something for this year, they have agreed to perform a huge London show next July, which would be an undeniable treat for more than 65,000 Spice fans.
The limited capacity means millions will miss out on seeing them live — but the girls will make up for it with new music.
