The Love Islanders get emotional as their families make a surprise visit to the villa
But will their partners get the all-important parental seal of approval?
TEARS have been a regular fixture in the Love Island villa, but tonight emotions reach an all-time high, when the contestants’ families make a surprise visit to the villa.
Kady’s mum and granddad were the first to arrive, shocking the bikini-clad brunette with a phone call followed by a surprise entrance.
An overwhelmed Kady immediately took them to the fire pit to find out whether Scott got the highest seal of approval.
Kady’s mum told her: “You and Scott are so like each other.
“I love him Kady, he’s so sweet. You’re so similar. He’s really stroppy, you’re stroppy, you both like winning, you both are argumentative, really strong willed.
“He’s got that childish side to him, which you have.”
Kady’s granddad added: “He’s a lovely boy. Look after him because he’s a good bloke.”
Her mum also confessed that Scott aksing her daughter to be his girlfriend had had quite an impact on her.
“I cried. I watched it three times Kady. I love him; I think he’s really sweet. You two are so cute.”
Scott’s mum was the next to make an entrance, and while she confirmed to her son that she thought Kady was “divine” and that he’d “met his match”, she also admitted that he’d overtaken his Emmerdale star brother Adam, to become the family favourite.
She said: “We’ve never laughed so much as we have this past month.
“Even Adam said ‘Emmerdale’s on and you’re actually watching re-runs of Love Island.
“I don’t think I’m the favourite twin anymore’.
“Everybody’s proud of you.”
